12q: Nested Intervals Demo & FAQ

This independent guide explains the 12q demo, focusing on its specific Nested Intervals mechanics, local wallet behavior, and practical controls. The demo uses a virtual-coin wallet and does not represent a licensed casino or real-money operator. All game data below is derived from the supplied contract and source observations.

How Nested Intervals Scoring Works

The game draws four independent uniform readings from a thirteen-pocket range (0–12). These are sorted into two closed intervals: A (first two readings) and B (last two readings). The raw score is determined by the containment relationship between A and B:

  • Score 2: Both A contains B and B contains A (identical intervals, including singletons).
  • Score 1: Proper containment (A contains B or B contains A, but not both).
  • Score 0: Neither interval contains the other.

Examples from the source:

Ticket Modes and Payout Math

Before spinning, you select one ticket mode. The payout is calculated as 0.96 × captured whole stake × total support / number of winning ordered outcomes. Different tickets have different hit probabilities and winning payout multipliers, but all have the same expected gross RTP of 0.96 (96%).

Ticket IDExact ProbabilityExact Gross RTPMeasured RTP (Sample)
0 (Lower)16172/285610.96~96.03%
1 (Upper)12389/285610.96~95.90%
2 (Even)16497/285610.96~96.05%

Tickets can overlap. A miss returns zero. The stake covers all independent readings in the sequence.

Controls and Auto-Play Limits

Auto Mode: Queues at most ten draws. The Stop button cancels future draws in the queue, but any currently captured outcome will settle fully.

Locking: Stake, ticket selection, and refill availability are locked throughout the active settlement phase and any auto queue. Sound remains available. Settlement takes approximately 480ms.

No Early Bank: There is no early cash-out for the active draw. Stop cancels future queued draws before their stakes are charged.

Local Wallet and Balance Limits

Initial Balance: The demo starts with 1000 virtual coins.

Manual Refill: When the balance is below 10 and the game is fully idle, clicking refill sets the balance to exactly 1000. Fractional carry is preserved across settlement, refill, and reload.

Persistence: Settled balances persist locally (including zero). Unfinished draws are discarded without refund if the page is reloaded; they do not resume.

Privacy and Storage Observations

Storage: The template uses browser localStorage for the settled demo balance and fractional carry. This does not establish anonymity or exclude other processing.

Third Parties: The template declares a Google Fonts stylesheet. Actual browser request capture is pending; this is not a claim that other requests or processing are absent.

Account/Payment: There is no account login flow or payment flow in this demo. Virtual coins have no cash value.

Audience and Responsible Use

18+ Audience: This guide targets an 18+ audience policy; it is not a claim about local law or an implemented age gate.

Responsible Use: The demo is a simulation. It does not clinically train behavior or make losses safe. There are no account-level blocking or self-exclusion tools in this demo interface. Users should find appropriate local qualified help if needed.

Frequently asked questions

What is the exact payout formula for a winning ticket?

The gross payout is 0.96 × captured whole stake × total support / number of winning ordered outcomes. This depends on the specific ticket mode and the exact probability of the winning outcome.

How is the raw score calculated for Nested Intervals?

It counts true containments between interval A (first two readings) and B (last two readings). Score 2 if both contain each other (identical), 1 if one properly contains the other, and 0 if neither contains the other.

What happens if I click Stop during Auto mode?

Stop cancels future draws in the queue. However, any currently captured outcome will finish its 480ms settlement. There is no early cash-out for the active draw. Cancelled future draws have not been charged and need no refund.

Can I refill my balance at any time?

No. Manual refill is only available when the game is fully idle and the balance is below 10. It sets the balance to exactly 1000, preserving fractional carry.

Does reloading the page restore unfinished draws?

No. Unfinished draws are discarded without refund upon reload. Only settled balances persist locally.

Are the tickets mutually exclusive?

No. Tickets can overlap. Different tickets may share winning outcomes, but you select only one ticket per draw.

What is the difference between exact and measured RTP?

Exact RTP (0.96) is the mathematical constant defined in the contract. Measured RTP (e.g., ~96.03%) is a sample observation from 1,000,000 rounds and may vary slightly due to simulation variance.

Is this a real-money casino?

No. This is an independent demo with virtual coins that have no cash value. There is no account, payment flow, or withdrawal mechanism.

How is my data stored?

Settled balance and fractional carry are stored in browser localStorage. This does not guarantee anonymity, and other processing may occur. The template references Google Fonts.

What does 'fractional carry' mean?

It refers to any non-integer portion of the balance that persists across settlement, refill, and reload events, as defined by the contract.

Can I play with a stake of 0.5?

No. The available stakes are 10, 20, 50, 100 and 200 virtual coins. Stake selection is locked during an active draw or auto queue.

Is the 18+ age gate enforced?

No. The 18+ label indicates this guide's intended audience policy, not an implemented age gate or a statement of local legality.
